About Khoi Jenkins
My journey into strength training began early — not with a goal, but with curiosity.
At 14, I stepped into a gym driven by a desire to understand what the body was capable of and how it could be improved. That curiosity quickly became commitment. At 18, I had earned my Cert III and Cert IV in Fitness and began coaching clients — a path I’ve continued on for nearly two decades.
Strength training has always been the foundation of my work.
At 22, I represented Australia in powerlifting and broke the junior world record with a 310kg deadlift. A year later, I went on to break the Open Men’s U93kg Australian deadlift record with a lift of 318.5kg. These milestones reinforced a belief I still coach by today: well-structured training, applied consistently, works.
Alongside powerlifting, I’ve spent many years training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and boxing. These disciplines shaped how I approach movement, technique, resilience, and adaptation — lessons that influence how I coach, not just how I train.
While these achievements are points of pride, they are not the purpose of my coaching. They exist as proof of principle. My focus has always been on continuing to develop myself physically and mentally so I can better serve the people I work with.
I believe great coaching goes beyond telling someone what to do. My role is to help clients understand why — how training and nutrition work in principle, and how to apply them in a way that fits their body, lifestyle, and goals. This builds confidence, independence, and results that last.
Whether coaching online or in person, my aim is to help people become stronger, more capable, and more informed — not just for the next phase, but for life.
Outside of coaching and combat sports, I value time with my wife and continued growth in spiritual faith, both of which keep me grounded and aligned with why I do what I do.

How Vigor Began
Vigor began with a commitment to training that went beyond getting stronger — a commitment to understanding why strength is built the way it is.
What started in the gym at 14 grew into nearly two decades of hands-on experience across strength training, competition, and coaching. Along the way, one belief became clear: lasting progress comes from well-structured training, applied consistently, and understood by the person doing it.
Why Vigor Exists
Most people don’t struggle because they lack effort. They struggle because they lack clarity.
Vigor exists to provide that clarity — not by handing out workouts, but by teaching the principles of training and nutrition, and showing how to apply them in a way that fits each individual’s body, lifestyle, and long-term goals.
What Sets Vigor Apart
Big Ideas, Real Impact.
Vigor is built on principle, not prescription.
Every client is coached to understand what they’re doing and why, so progress is sustainable and confidence extends beyond the program itself. Whether coaching online or in person, the standard remains the same: personalised training, education-led coaching, and respect for the process.
This allows Vigor to support people wherever they train and through every stage of life — without compromising quality, connection, or results.
Every event we host is designed with intention, from the atmosphere we create to the way each session flows.
