Meet the team
Khoi Jenkins - Personal & Nutrition Coach
Khoi’s journey into strength training began early — not with a goal, but with curiosity.
At 14, he stepped into a gym driven by a desire to understand what the body was capable of and how it could be improved. That curiosity quickly became commitment.
At 18, he had earned a Cert III and Cert IV in Fitness and began coaching clients — a path he’s continued on for nearly two decades.
Strength training has always been the foundation of Khoi’s work.
At 22, Khoi represented Australia in powerlifting and broke the junior world record with a 310kg deadlift. A year later, he went on to break the Open Men’s U93kg Australian deadlift record with a lift of 318.5kg.
These milestones reinforced a belief Khoi still coaches by today: well-structured training, applied consistently, works.
Alongside powerlifting, Khoi has spent many years training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and boxing. These disciplines have shaped his approach to movement, technique, resilience, and adaptation — lessons that influence how Khoi coaches, not just how he trains.

Etiquette
Etiquette is something we truly value at VigorHQ as it allows for the essence of community to flourish and individuals to Thrive so please take the time out to view our etiquette policy.
The 3 Principle Pillars
1. Respect Staff, Members & Equipment
-
Respect the People; for any community to flourish and for individuals to thrive they need to feel safe, by treating all those in the community with respect you are helping build a community.
Respect Gym Property; Gym equipment is shared with everyone in our community, by using it as intended along with not throwing, dropping or slamming equipment this will help keep everything functional and in top condition.
Recording; videos for training is normal and encouraged however when doing so please be respectful of those around you.
Be Mindful of Noise; The gym isn’t a library no one is expecting absolute silence, but do keep in mind of other members training and surrounding businesses.
Allow other Members to Work In; At Vigor we strive to have capped memberships to ensure all patrons get the best experience training possible, however if someone is training and requires the same piece of equipment as you consider sharing if they ask.
Don’t Hoard Equipment; Wanting to be efficient with your workout is great, but please do not hoard multiple pieces of equipment, if you require superset consider sharing with other members.
No Dropping Dumbbells; Please be aware that our facility is right on top of a office space that’s located downstairs. For this reason during the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm we kindly ask that you use crash mats provided when using heavy dumbbells that you cannot control down safely.
Return Equipment where they Belong; Majority of the equipment will have designated places where they belong, so please return them as such. If you don’t know please contact a staff member.
Respect is a principle that can be applied across all areas at Vigor HQ. If you remember any rules this is the one to remember.
-
Understand we are all different united in common ground which is our passion for health and fitness; So please respect that everyone is different and this is what makes a community great.
Our Zero Tolerance Policy; does mean that any Bullying, Discrimination or Harrassment will result in membership termination.
At Vigor HQ we have a Zero Tolerance Policy.
2. No Bullying, Discrimination or Harrassment
Clean Shoes, Towels, Wiping Equipment & Personal Hygiene is essential not only for your health & wellbeing but for the comfort of those who also share the gym.
3. Hygiene is Not Optional
-
Clean Shoes Must be Worn; Bringing work shoes, boots will not be accepted.
No training in work clothes; Work clothes are functional for work, however they will often restrict you in training, so please pack clothes appropriate for the gym.
Towels are a Must; Towels prevent sweat and bodily fluids from being shared and transferred to yourself and other members.
Equipment is shared physically and wiping things down prevents the spreading of germs & bacteria which will keep you safe. (Less sick days = more gains).
General rule is if you can smell yourself, others can as well. So please lets keep personal hygiene standard high and if you do need deodorant please ask our staff members.
